Post 9/11 Racism

Well, well, shrill racism is surfacing throughout the country.  It has been since the attack on September 11th on New York and Washington.  The shrill and bitchy racism is spoken and written by those who would otherwise be classified as genteel writers, wannabe opinion makers and a handful of Congressmen in the House of Representatives.

Their targets are not Arab terrorists, though they should be, or Middle Eastern governments and people who cause trouble for their neighbors, Arab and Jew, though they should be.  No, the target is the Mexican people, both here and in Mexico.

In the Congress, a law is passed to impose restrictions and so-called safety checks on Mexican truckers and trucks crossing the Border from Mexico that American truckers and trucks don't have to abide by.

On CBS' "SIXTY MINUTES" we see a program exposing the greatest American outlaw public agency, the Border Patrol, for its staffing by murderers, rapists and drug smugglers and the American people express no outrage.  The victims of these outlaws with guns and badges are mostly Mexican, thus, perhaps, the thundering silence among Americans and among Congressmen.

A Mexican is shot in the back and killed by a septuagenarian in Texas who is acquitted of murder, but at least convicted of gun charges. The dead illegal alien made the mistake of knocking on the old man's door and asking for a glass of water. Outrage?  No, after all, the victim was an illegal alien from Mexico.

"Close the Border" with Mexico, columnists (Sam Francis, Phyllis Schafly, Peter Brimelow) cry.  Send the Army to close the border; stop all trade with Mexico; round up all Mexicans in the country illegally.  After all, the murderers who pulled off the mass murder of September 11th were Saudi Arabians and others from the Middle East.  Close the Border with Mexico!

Stop all immigration, cries a Congressman from Colorado named Tancredo (isn't that an Italian name from Italian immigrants just a few years ago?). The usual anti-immigration suspects join Tancredo and a few other congressmen.  Stop all immigration cries immigrant Peter Brimelow.  Stop all immigration-especially from Mexico.

Alarmists like writer Sam Francis cry that the American culture is in danger because so many Mexicans are moving here-mostly, I should add, legally.  Don't give amnesty to more Mexicans here illegally he demands, for they will steal America out from under his very white nose.

With the exceptions of a single Chinese immigrant woman and one Cuban immigrant (George Borjas, the greatest academic charlatan since Harry Laughlin and his fellow eugenicists convinced the American Congress to shut down immigration) these anti-Mexican fanatics are generally white males.  Their profound hatred for Mexicans is hard to explain, though manifested everywhere.

What makes a white male like Peter Brimelow, born an Englishmen who became, first, a Canadian immigrant, then an immigrant to America, such a hater of Mexicans?

What makes a white American male like Sam Francis, who eats food put on his plate by Mexicans, hate them so much?

What makes a white woman like Phyllis Schafly write nonsense about Mexicans taking back the Southwest by out breeding whites? What makes a Chinese immigrant woman named Ling Ling, who speaks English with a terrible accent, make her life's work stopping immigration?

What makes Cuban Borjas propose stopping immigration of Mexicans without Ph.D's? What makes Borjas and his ilk state that Mexican immigrants cost the country billions, when, in fact, they make billions for us in greater productivity and do work no Americans will ever do again?

Lets see: The targets are Mexicans and 90% of all Mexicans are either mixed blood of European and Indian blood, or pure Indian.  The critics, with the exception of the Chinese woman, are all white, including white Cuban George Borjas. What's the juxtaposition here?

Before anyone charges "race card," perhaps they should look in the mirror.  If they look like me, they usually don't object to immigrants from Mexico, and don't believe in the coincidence that almost all the critics and haters are white. Coincidence, intelligence experts that I worked with in the Cold War point out, rarely exists.

Thus, if almost all Mexican haters are white, aren't they related to those white people who terrorized the entire American black population for hundreds of years.  White men spread fear of Black male sexuality throughout the country so that black men were lynched and killed for even looking at white women, much less having sex with them.

They lied about "swarthy" Italians, Greeks, Papists, Catholics and Jews from Poland and Russia. That is, they spread layers of lies upon lies that fueled the anti-immigrant hysteria in the 1920s that resulted in the immigration door being slammed shut.  They are, at least, consistent.

We now know that such fear and lies were purely racist based and fueled.  Fast forward to today, we can say the same about these white people who hate Mexicans.  They can hide for only so long, however, for they will be exposed.  Let the exposure start here.
