At the recent “Take Back America Conference” a gathering of radical liberal activists, Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York introduced with effusive praise Mr. George Soros. The once shadowy, now out of the closet Soros is the billionaire who is circumventing campaign finance laws, pledging to spend what ever is necessary to defeat President Bush. In the ensuing tirade the billionaire sugar daddy of presumptive Democrat nominee John Kerry, equated the attacks of September 11 to the Abu Ghraib prison abuse. Soros went even further, baldly proclaiming, “The war on terror has taken more innocent victims than the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.” Read that again…Soros equates the abuses of a group of bozo prison guards and casualties resulting from our troops fighting terrorist in Iraq and Afghanistan, with the acts of Arab terrorist who killed thousands of innocent Americans on 9/11….incredible! In other words, the terrorists are the good guys in the eyes of Soros and company and our troops are villains. Balderdash! Hillary smiled broadly. Even more incredible, Kerry has stood quietly by and failed to repudiate the hateful nonsense spewed by Soros! Can we expect Kerry upon reflection to condemn such blather? Have other Democrat leaders raised their voices in protest? Don’t hold your breath. Kerry is a far left radical just like Soros. Even worse, ‘Jean’ Kerry will continue to cowardly hide behind the vicious and irresponsible rhetoric of his attack dogs like Soros and Julian Bond. Bond, now NAACP president, made a similar over the top attack on President Bush at their recent convention. The visual of that address was stunning; Bond ranted while former President Clinton, seated at his feet, dutiful listened in rapt repose. It is clear the liberals will not debate issues and choices so they must resort to personal attacks and outrageous claims. They are becoming shriller and less relevant to mainstream Americans. This is more than an election; it is a fight for the soul of America. We must not allow the leadership of America and the free world to fall into the hands of the most radical member of the U.S. Senate, his cabal, and their retinue of ‘Lefty Loonies’. The once proud Democrat Party that lead the country in WW II, Korea, Viet Nam, Bosnia, Haiti and Somalia, has been hijacked. The apologist forces of the United Nations, Blame America first crowd are running the Democrat show. It is a sad time for moderate and conservative Democrats and for all Americans. President Bush has his faults, but he is a straight shooter. He will fight for our interests and protect us. Our economy is recovering and we must stay the course in the fight on terrorism. The French and much of Europe condemn President Bush and his ‘cowboy style’, preferring the apologist Francophile Kerry. Well, European votes don’t count in our election, even in Florida. This is an American election and we need a leader who first recognizes and will then protect American interests! The choice is clear and simple. |
